"Pastel square: Together to the end" is a macro photo of two (sets of) beautiful dried leaves of the Bougainvillea. This is a plant that grows in some countries with a warm climate, such as Spain (Lanzarote). I found these leaves on the ground, already partly dried in the Spanish sunshine. I used them as the subject of my photo, because I think the vein structure comes out so nicely, because the leaves are already so thin. Also, of course, because of the beautiful (pastel) colours of the leaves.
If you zoom in on the photo, you can clearly see what the vein structure looks like (and that I chose a relatively small depth-of-field). You can also see that the left leaf has a small tear in it; this imperfection shows how fragile the leaves are.
This work could hang beautifully as a wall decoration, (on ArtFrame or aluminium, for example) in the bedroom, hallway or just above the couch in the living room! (Or as wall decoration on the wall in a waiting room, office or meeting room (business).
