About the artwork

The Hungarian Parliament building (Országház) is the seat of the Hungarian Parliament, located on the Danube in Budapest (Kant-Pest). The House of Representatives holds regular sessions here. Heads of State and other prominent figures are received here by the Hungarian president and ministers.

The building dominates the part of the Korso between the Chain Bridge (Lánc-hid) and the Margit Bridge. It is a symbol for Budapest but certainly for Hungary. It was designed in 1885 by Imre Steindl and it was completed in 1904. It is one of the most beautiful monuments in the world. The length is 268 meters, the largest width is 118 meters. The height is 27 meters and the dome is 96 meters high. The parliament covers 17,745 m². The two side wings of the neo-Gothic-style building house the courtrooms. On the side of the Danube there are reading, board and dining rooms. The parliament library contains 400,000 books. Steindl's design was chosen after a competition. Numbers two and three have also been realized. It concerns the monumental buildings opposite the parliament. One of them is now the Museum of Ethnology.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
