Panoramic view of the John Frost Bridge in Arnhem by Henk Meijer Photography

A 2:1 panoramic photograph taken at dusk and during the blue hour, showing the illuminated John Frost Bridge in Arnhem with a long exposure.

The historic bridge glows against the increasingly darkening blue sky, whilst the illuminated Arnhem skyline stretches across the background, dominated by the distinctive tower of the Eusebius Church.

The unusually low water level of the Rhine exposes parts of the riverbed and creates interesting textures and patterns along the bank. The calm water, the atmospheric evening light, the illuminated architecture and the movement of the clouds combine to form a moody and cinematic cityscape of Arnhem at dusk.

This photograph was taken with a professional Hasselblad X2D II 100C, a 100-megapixel camera, and a Hasselblad lens for the very highest quality in sharpness and detail.
