About the artwork
"Panorama of a shell in different shades of brown" is a macro photo of a small shell that has beautiful brown colours swirling around it in lanes.
When taking this photo, I placed the shell on a special background. This ground reflects and at the same time has a texture, which breaks up the reflection and allows you to see an abstract representation of the shell in the ground. The reflection seems almost painterly, as if the shell is in the water.
The background matches the colour of the sharp nicely in terms of hue, it too has a brownish hue that continues into the background. This gives a calmness to the photo.
If you zoom in on the photo, you can clearly see how richly detailed the shell was photographed.
This photo has a calm and warm look and could, for example, beautifully hang as wall decoration in the bedroom, dining room, waiting room or of course just above the couch in the living room.
