A 3:1 panorama photo of an evening in Lubriano, a quiet village in northern Lazio that most people drive past. However, it is well worth a stop, if only for the fantastic views over Bagnoregio and the valley. Like most villages in the region, Lubriano stretches on a ridge and most of the houses are along the main street. The tower that dominates the village dates from the 12th century and was used to defend the Teverina valley. But before the 1695 earthquake, the tower was twice as high!
