Saint Martin de Ré is the capital of the Ile de Ré. With its exceptional Vauban fortifications, it is even listed as a World Heritage Site. In summer, the village is a lively place where many tourists come. The terraces around the harbour are very busy during the summer months. In the harbour, pleasure yachts lie next to fishing boats and tourists stroll along the promenade. The restaurants in the village offer a wide range of fresh fish and seafood and they often work with local products.
Landscape photographer and drone pilot Koen Henderickx will gladly take you on a discovery of the most beautiful places, both close by or a little further away.
His mission is to introduce people to the beauty of nature, from water, the land or in the sky via drones.
