A panoramic photo of Alesund in Norway taken from Mount Aksla. The photo is composed of a large number of separate images and is therefore of very high resolution and detail. You can see the harbour, the lighthouse and the old town with its Art Nouveau architecture and colourful houses. That Ålesund is almost entirely built in Art Nouveau style is because it was completely burnt down during this period (1904 to be precise) and thus rebuilt in the modern and popular style.
