About ‘Palma@night’ by Siedse Jan Photography

Palma de Mallorca at night has a quiet, understated charm. The streets of the old town are softly lit by lanterns and Palma's imposing Cathedral comes alive in the moonlight, its detailed architecture contrasting sharply with the dark sky. It is quieter than during the day, but there is still life in the city. Local cafés and restaurants along the cobbled streets have their terraces open, where people quietly enjoy a meal or a drink. In the harbour, yachts lie still, illuminated by the city lights that enhance the reflections in the water. The atmosphere is calm, but the city does not feel deserted. Palma at night is a place where you can feel the rhythm of everyday life, but in a more relaxed, subtle form. It is a city that has its own pace once the sun has set.

Siedse Jan is a Dutch photographer who moved to Mallorca in spring 2022. For many years he has been passionate about photography, especially during his travels, where he developed his love for street photography and portraits. In Mallorca, he found new inspiration, capturing local culture and everyday life. In 2024, he had his first exhibitions at Artists of Mallorca and Knack Art in Mallorca. His work is characterised by his eye for detail and the human stories he captures…

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
