About ‘Palendorp Petten’ by Apple Brenner

To make the coast between Camperduin and Petten safer, 35 million cubic metres of sand was raised as part of the 'Coast on Strength' project. This created a row of dunes with a wide beach in front of the dike. This work took place in 2014 and 2015.

As a souvenir, the contractor who realised the project donated a village of palms,…
