Between Callantsoog and Bergen aan Zee, in the tip of North Holland, lies the coastal town of Petten. Petten is known for the Hondsbossche Zeewering. This is a dike on the spot where in the Middle Ages a storm surge broke through the original dunes. In addition you can climb the Panorama Dune in Petten and view a special work of art on the beach: the Village of Petten. A place loved by photographers, because you can make beautiful pictures.
