About ‘Palace Stairway’ by Erik Borst
A country house that looked more like a palace. The huge building stretched out over a decent terrain. It was a former villa that belonged to a casino. The beautiful building was characterized by the stairs at the main entrance of the building. Especially the symmetry of both stairs and the hall in the middle makes it a picture.

I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Erik Borst and I live in Hattem, a small town on the Veluwe in the province of Gelderland. I have been interested in photography from an early age. I took the first photos with a Canon Powershot compact camera. The cameras have gradually changed in type and brand.
In terms of subjects, I am very busy with urbex, landscape and detail photography. But I also always enjoy trying other photographic challenges.
