I live in Paciano, Umbria, Italy and it is a beautiful little village with about 900 inhabitants. The view of the village shown in the collage is the one I see on the road down from my house heading towards Paciano. Paciano loves a festa and during the season you will find the narrow streets lined with contrada flags. In Summer the main street into Paciano has a beautiful display of umbrellas that cast fabulous shadows on the flagstones below. The village has plenty of old features that catch the eye including an old well. In the centre of the village is the Comune building with its bell tower above the central square where people stop for a coffee and to catch up on the gossip. The streets are narrow and picturesque with pretty floral displays and water stations for visitors and local inhabitants (including the local cats).
