About ‘PUFF 911’ by Victor Weijers

Puff 911 forms a special chapter within the PUFFER COUTURE collection: a classic Porsche 911 transformed into a fully quilted sculpture in which power, speed and luxury are translated into ultimate softness. The sleek sports car profile remains recognisable, but every surface - from the windows and headlights to the rims and bumpers - has been redesigned in a deep purple puffer texture. This creates a surreal object that looks both familiar and completely new.

The combination of iconic car design with a material that normally serves to keep the human body warm creates an intriguing tension. The car seems to lose its function while gaining something new: not speed, but comfort; not performance, but form. The quilted seams follow the Porsche's aerodynamic lines and give it an almost cartoon-like softness, without losing its sculptural character.

Puff 911 is thus an ode to shape experimentation, a playful reflection on materiality and a visual nod to the way we keep reinterpreting iconic objects. The work shows that even the most powerful symbol of speed can be embraced by softness - literally and conceptually.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
