The Sparrowhawk is a very rare bird in the Netherlands. In 2013 it was present for a long time in a suburb of Zwolle, where it was easy to watch. But actually it breeds in the northern forests of Russia and Scandinavia. It is striking for the stripes on its body and its long tail, which makes it look like a Sparrowhawk.
Art on canvas looks great on any wall. It truly comes into its own with paintings featuring sharp brushstrokes.
For a number of years I have been engaged in photography in nature. The images I make are mostly realistic, like nature shows itself to be. I photograph in The Netherlands, but also in other countries, such as Scandinavia, Iceland, Australia, etc.
