Over the Shoulder

by ErwinFloor-Photography

An Indian peafowl looks calmly over its shoulder, as if it wants to glance back for a moment to see who is watching it. It is precisely this moment that makes this photograph so special: instead of the familiar peafowl with its tail spread wide, here you see the bird from behind, with its head gracefully in profile.

The royal blue head with its fan-shaped crest stands out beautifully against the soft, green background. The eye, the white ring around it and the yellow beak are razor-sharp, allowing you to admire every detail of the plumage. Beneath, the green tail feathers gleam with their characteristic blue eye spots, which seem to shimmer in the light in shades of emerald, turquoise and gold.

The tranquil background ensures that all attention is drawn to the peacock. This makes the photograph not only colourful, but also harmonious and serene. A work of art that brings the beauty of nature into your home.

This photograph looks its best as a large-format print on the wall, on canvas, aluminium or behind acrylic glass. It fits well in a living room, bedroom, hall or office decorated in natural tones, green or blue. Pair it with ‘Eye to Eye’ for a stylish duo.
