About ‘Outside Bantammerstraat - Amsterdam’ by Tony Buijse
The Buiten Bantammerstraat is one of the two streets that cross the Waalseiland and connect the Prins Hendrik quay with the Binnenkant. The Waalseiland was built in 1634 from the IJ. The Oosterdok is now on the northeast side, and the Waalseilandsgracht on the southwest side.
