About ‘Oude IJsselbrug Zutphen’ by Nico van Haastrecht

De Oude IJsselbrug in Zutphen meet een overspanning van 345 meter en werd geopend in 1865. Het is een brug met een rijke historie. In 1944 werd de brug gebombardeerd door de geallideerden om transporten door de Duitse bezetters te verhinderen. Daarbij werd de stad vooral getroffen.
