One whole mangosteen and one with the top half of the peel removed. There are so many exciting contrasts in these fruits: the slightly rough, reddish-purple outer skin , the yellow-green leaves with the massive green stalk; under the removed skin, the whitish flesh framed by a bright red inner skin. In the background, three glossy green leaves. The contrasts are further enhanced by the light gray background with beige rectangles.
