A bunch of mushrooms together, in a casual pose as if on their way to a destination. In this case, autumn. This is the Parasola plicatilis. A common mushroom that emerges in groups, in damp grassland, lawns and at the edge of the road. The cap is translucent gray with a brown top. A young pleated mushroom has a hat that looks more like an acorn. As it gets older the hat folds out more like a parasol or better, umbrella. It is autumn after all. The species is not poinosous, yet inedible.
