Today I once again trekked through the olive groves at the Marmari Beach of Loggos on the Greek island of Paxos. It is warm and the cicadas are chirping merrily. The olive branches with their silvery-green leaves let the sunlight filter through to the rocky ground.
I paint there all day. The high summer temperatures make my paint dry quickly so I have to work fast.
Contemporary images and even those from the past inspire me to recycle them for re-actionary contemporary impressionist art.
