The stairs in the buildings of Hamburg's old large warehouses usually have the same neo-Gothic style as the rest of the architecture. The staircases are often built with bricks and characteristic Gothic details, such as pointed arches and decorative elements. This staircase is in the Meßberghof, another building in this historic district.
