About ‘Ode to the Earth’ by De Levenstuin

The structure of this image is a very earthly one: a square within a square within a square, and so on.
The tree running through the squares emphasises the earthly aspect, as do the chosen colours, and lends depth to the image.

The image is hand-drawn on 30x30cm paper, using pencil, coloured pencil and fineliner, and finished with some conté crayon.

Imagine how this earthy figure can bring grounding, structure and vitality to your space all at once! Displayed large on a light-coloured wall, this image will look absolutely stunning. But even in its original size, it brings a small space to life.

It is an Ode to the Earth, with all its marvellous trees. These enormous living beings are so rarely appreciated, and that pains me deeply. Just stand next to a tree, feel the trunk, hear the rustling of the leaves, look up and wow… what would it be like to be a tree! So much strength and beauty, with sap flowing right down to the tiniest leaves.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
