About "Northern lights over Skógafoss, Iceland"

About the artwork

Iceland is known for its spectacular nature, but few moments are as unforgettable as seeing the northern lights over a waterfall. This photo shows Skógafoss, one of the country's most iconic waterfalls, bathed in the green light of the aurora borealis. As the stars twinkle in the sky, the water flows down unruffled and the world seems to stand still for a moment.
What inspired me was the sheer magic of the moment: the stillness of the night, the muffled sound of falling water and the dancing light immersing everything in a surreal atmosphere.

For this shot, I deliberately chose a quiet composition, doing full justice to both the waterfall and the northern lights. The sense of space, wonder and adventure is exactly what I wanted to capture in this image. Every time I look at this picture, I remember how insignificant you can feel in Icelandic nature.

This piece brings a piece of pure magic and adventure into your home. Perfect for lovers of nature, Iceland and special light phenomena. A real eye-catcher that makes you dream of distant travels every day.

About Roy Poots

In 2009 Roy Poots bought his very first SLR camera, a Canon EOS 450D. After having photographed everything for a while, he realised that he liked landscapes, architecture and (nocturnal) cityscapes the most by far. Since then, he has devoted himself to these subjects.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
