About "New York"

About the artwork

In 2017, I took a road trip across America and it ended in New York City. For my work, I have had the opportunity to visit this city several times but each time for 1 or 2 days. This time, I had more time so I could visit a number of sights. Of course, the view from the "Top of the Rock" was also on my list.

Armed with camera and tripod, I went to this location well before sunset. I had bought an entrance ticket in advance so I didn't have to wait in the queue for a long time.

Once I arrived at the top, I went straight to the spot from where I had the best view of downtown New York and the wait for hopefully a beautiful sunset could begin. Meanwhile, I enjoyed the fantastic view of Manhattan with the "Empire State Building" in the centre. This time I was lucky and was treated by Mother Nature with a colourful sunset.

With this, it's half over for me. The other half to make the work suitable for my shop at work on the wall, I do at home with the necessary post-processing of various photo programmes. All in all, this takes time, but if the end result is what I had in mind, I am very satisfied and this work will not look out of place on your wall.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
