With the Panorama, we are in Midtown Manhattan, the middle part of the peninsula. Here is Saint Thomas Church, which in 1914 drew on French Gothic in the style of historicism. The architects Ralph Adams Cram and Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue replaced a church destroyed by an earthquake on the same site. The Buchmann Tower, part of the ensemble, dates from 1957 and steps down to three storeys towards the street. This creates a counterpart to Saint Thomas Church, which also matches the church in its materiality, the sand-lime brick. This picture montage from New York City was created from several multi-perspective shots.
