About the artwork

This black-and-white photo shows the majestic power of the sea and the tranquillity of the beach. The photo shows two rows of wooden piles entering the sea from the beach. The pile heads are a typical image on the Zeeland coast and ensure that our land remains protected from the strong sea currents. This photo shows the soothing and romantic atmosphere of the beach. Because of the black-and-white conversion and the coarse grain in the photo, the roughness of the sea is expressed. Yet the photo also has something beautiful and special about it, the piled heads seem to dance on the waves. It is a perfect representation of the force of nature that prevails on our coastline, and the two rows of pile heads give the photo a sense of symmetry and balance. The calm, lapping waves at the foot of the piles create a romantic feel and invite you to enjoy the beauty of nature. It is a timeless image that fits perfectly into any interior and is a beautiful reminder of the peace and beauty of the beach.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
