Nerja is a beautiful town located on the coast of the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. One of the town's most iconic landmarks is the "Balcony of Europe", a stunning vantage point that rises high above the sea and offers panoramic views of the coastline and surrounding mountains. But Nerja has much more to offer than just the Balcony of Europe. It has an atmospheric old town with narrow streets and whitewashed houses, and there are plenty of cosy bars, restaurants and shops where you can enjoy local specialities. Nerja is also known for its beautiful beaches and coves, with crystal-clear waters and soft sandy beaches perfect for sunbathing, swimming and water sports. And if you are interested in history, be sure to visit the famous Nerja caves, where you can admire prehistoric petroglyphs and a spectacular underground cathedral. In short, Nerja is a wonderful holiday destination that offers something for everyone, whether you want to relax on the beach, soak up culture or simply enjoy the beautiful Spanish countryside.
