About the artwork

Portrait of a dead flower.
'Dead', but full of life, powerful, beautiful, tough, full of character, inspiring.

A friend gave me the dead flowers from her garden. I photographed them in my studio in front of a canvas painted in deep blue tones by myself. With natural daylight, which, from the side, shows the details and structures beautifully.

This light is also called 'Rembrandt light'. Painters in the 17th century - like the 'Dutch Master' Rembrandt - were already inspired by this light.

With its brown, beige, taupe, aubergine and deep blue hues, this photo combines beautifully with copper, bronze, gold and brass elements in your interior. Deep, warm red can also be an exciting, beautiful combination.

You can also find the photo in black and white in my collection.

This art photo is suitable for large format reproduction in museum quality. The artwork contains a lot of details that will make the viewer wonder.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
