Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘National Monument of Scotland, Calton Hill’ by Melanie Viola

The construction of the National Monument of Scotland on Calton Hill in Edinburgh was supposed to be a monument to the fallen of the Napoleonic Wars. However, after a few columns were erected, the monument remained unfinished after 1829 due to the construction costs. Wonderful impression in the evening with low sun and shadows cast.
