I made this romantic piece during the dry summer of 2022 where everyone was yearning for some rain. Everything was dried out and the sun kept burning, remember?
During a walk with my dog, I saw a couple in love walking barefoot and stopped under a tree. They kissed each other and the girl had to stand on her toes because the boy, even bent over, was a lot taller than her.
Naturally, I politely averted my gaze to give this young couple their privacy. Still, the image stuck in my mind of how the girl had to stand on her tippy-toes and the boy, as boys are, bent over a bit clumsy. Quite funny.
I imagined what it would be like if it suddenly started raining and was sure that this couple would not care. They would not be disturbed in their love game at all and would passionately continue kissing each other.
Isn't it beautiful, the love between people?
