Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

Muleteers beside an Italian Ruin, Jan Asselijn

Asselijn had spent time in Rome, where he recorded his impressions in drawings. Once back in Amsterdam, he painted this view of a huge aqueduct. This monument to the faded glory of ancient Rome now shelters simple country folk and their herds. In the sunlight beneath one arch, a traveller is relieving himself, just like the urinating donkey in the foreground that partially conceals him.
