Wales has a rugged beauty. Slate, greenery and the many mountains play a starring role in it. This photo shows a mountain landscape in spring from over a typical welsh wall. The vegetation is not yet as green as in summer, but it is nicely variegated in terms of colours. In the distance is Mount Snowdon, Wales' highest mountain. It is covered with low-hanging clouds here, something you often see in Wales. Those low-hanging clouds add depth, but also a touch of mystery. This landscape always touches me a lot.
This photo has a lot of green and grey in its colour palette. It thus fits well on a light green or grey wall, or a wall with concrete structure. In an interior with an industrial touch, in a tough room, this image comes into its own.
