Once again Col de Meyrand in the Ardèche, this time a little further back and a little lower down the valley. This gives a nice view of the small villages scattered throughout the valley. Often no more than a hamlet where life just babbles on. Now around this time you can see the sun disappearing more and more behind the mountain ridge which gives a nice play between light and dark. The shade comes, the fireplace goes on and people take their time preparing dinner, bringing in the cattle and taking their Sunday rest.
