Mossy trees united at sunrise...Sometimes it rains during an entire trip, sometimes the sun shines endlessly in an area that is particularly prone to fog. Three weeks of walking up the mountain and there was no fog, no rain and hardly any cloud to be seen. Unlike many, I like the atmosphere in a forest when it is raining. This morning was the last morning before we would go home. I was determined to make an image even though the conditions were difficult. I went up the mountain again very early in the morning and made this image. There is just a tiny bit of mist in the background created by a cold lake in the valley way below this forest. I loved these tall trees and therefore chose a vertical frame for them.
