Pottery is a centuries-old art that is practiced in the cities of Fez, Safi and Salé and in the countryside in the north and south. The most refined ceramics come from Fez, which is usually cobalt blue in color mixed with golden yellow and green or blue white. The old ceramics of Fez were green in color. Most pottery is nowadays made in Safi, where there is a real pottery district, the Colline des Potiers. This image was made in Fez.
