About "Morning star (Tragopogon) in the light with dark background"

About the artwork

"Morning star (Tragopogon) in the light with dark background" is a macro photo I took of a fluffy bulb of a Tragopogon (also called Morgenster in Dutch). This plant belongs to the Composite family ( Asteraceae) just like the dandelion. Like the dandelion, the flower of the Tragopogon turns into a beautiful ball of fluff after flowering. The fuzz does differ from that of the dandelion. The fluff of a Morning Star (Tragopogon) looks a bit like spider webs attached to the stalk with the seeds. If you zoom in on this work, you can see this clearly. When making this work, I chose a shallow depth of field. This creates depth in the picture because the further back you look in the work, the fainter the fluff becomes.
This work could hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the bedroom, kitchen, dining room or just above the sofa! Also of course beautiful in business spaces, such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!
