Moonlight illuminates the old warehouses in the Speicherstadt district of the Hanseatic City, and the port city of Hamburg.
The old steel bridge at the front of the picture is the so-called: Wanderereiterbrücke.
Speicherstadt is a part of the city with canals, bridges and restored buildings. This area on the Elbe is the largest oak-posted warehouse complex in the world, with its neo-Gothic brick buildings with small towers and pottery ornaments. Each warehouse had several floors and entrances from the water and from the quay.
Note: the white lines in the sky are the light of the stars, which become lines with a long shutter speed.
