About ‘Montelbaanstoren Amsterdam’ by Rene Siebring

The Montelbaantoren orignates from 1516. It was part of the Amsterdam defense system. The nickname of the tower is Malle Jaap (Crazy Jacob) because there has been a time that the bells of the clock started to play spontaniously on irregular times.
