This shot is very special to me and has quite an unique and dangerous viewpoint.
What a story! I was at Mont Saint Michel (city on island with ebb and flow) to shoot a sunset. I found the perfect spot and thought it was strange that there was no one else around. People on the bridge kept waving at me and I waved back politely. Suddenly the police came with howling sirens and shouted with a megaphone that I had to return immediately.I reluctantly responded, but then i found out that I was completely surrounded by rapidly rising water. Up to my waist in a strong current, my tripod as a walking stick and my gear above my head, I barely made it to dry land. After a hefty reprimand from the police I continued shooting. This shot was the last I took before I found out I was in serious trouble.
