Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Monks peep through a window at a monastery in Bhutan’ by Teun Janssen

While travelling through Bhutan, I visited Talo Monastery near Punaka. Pictured are two monks in their typical dark red robes peering through a window to see what is happening inside during the Buddhist ceremony. The peeling white walls and antique painted wooden window frames add to the special atmosphere at this place.
