My inspiration arose from the desire to give women a place at the centre, especially in times when that was not self-evident. I wanted her not only to look, but also to experience - music as a symbol of freedom and personal experience.
The atmosphere is warm and quirky, with a touch of humour: Go crazy, life is already so serious. The work wants to invite the viewer to bob along for a while, free from expectations or rules.
Technically, it is a combination of classical imagery and modern accents. The result feels both familiar and innovative, and fits into interiors of people who appreciate art with a story, a wink and a good dose of character.
