Contemporary version of the world-famous painting by Lisa Gherardini or Mona Lisa. This is a copy which was probably made by a pupil of Leonardo Da Vinci. Both works of art are said to have been made around the beginning of the 16th century in the artist's studio. This copy can be found in the Prado in Madrid. The Prado and the Louvre Museum in Paris, where the original of the Mona Lisa hangs, have now confirmed the authenticity of the copy. The Madrid copy looks younger and more enchanting, according to experts, but has the same pose and the same mysterious facial expression.
