A chic interior of an empty storefront proved to be a fitting setting for Marten Soolmans and Oopjen Coppit, from Rembrandt van Rijn's famous diptych.
Nouveau riche and old wealth captured in one image. But even here, as in the two panels, they remain close to each other, yet also separate.
Because of the exorbitant price that was paid for the two paintings of Marten and Oopjen, I have made this Marten and Oopjen extra cheap and significantly reduced the price.
