Digital low polygon painting based on a photograph i took of the train bridge in Deventer on a really misty day. The polygons (triangles) are hand drawn and coloured digitally onto the photograph. Textures are added layering photographs of paint and other rough surfaces over the image.
Art on canvas looks great on any wall. It truly comes into its own with paintings featuring sharp brushstrokes.
Multimedia designer. With inspiration form working in the game industry, my latest work is making low polygon renditions of photographs. This reduces an image to nothing but simple triangle shapes. By adding gritty textures, the final result has both a digital as a painted look. Apart from the free work you see here, I also make portraits in the same style.
