In this digital version of the Milkmaid by Johannes Vermeer, the milkmaid is combined with a still life with cheeses by the painter Floris Claesz. van Dijck. The still life was painted ca. 1615. The milkmaid dates from 1660. Combining old masters into one new work is a much sought after art piece that fits into any interior. Thanks to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam where both works hang.
