About "Messerschmitt FMR Tg 500 "Tiger" cabin scooter"

About the artwork

A Tg 500 or Tiger 500 from FMR was of course the absolute high-flyer back then in the 1960s with a top speed of 130 km/h, which it could achieve with the 19.9 hp of a two-cylinder two-stroke engine from Fichtel & Sachs and 494 cm³. A Porsche 356 with its 1300 cc engine from 1957 was only marginally faster at 145 km/h. However, the sales price of DM 3650 (1958-1960) or DM 3725 (1961) was exorbitantly high. At the same time, a spacious VW Beetle standard model with 4-5 proper seats and boot was available for DM 5,050.

And because the Supreme National Sports Commission did not grant the vehicle a motorsport homologation - the production volume of less than 400 units was simply too low - they simply raced against each other, including at the Nürburgring. This has not diminished the increase in value to this day and remains extremely high. If you have one - you should have 150,000 euros for this mini speedster!!!

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
