The Mercedes-Benz W 113, also known as the SL Pagoda, is an iconic sports coupé that was produced between 1963 and 1971. The name "Pagoda" comes from the characteristic shape of the hardtop, which is reminiscent of the architecture of Asian pagodas with an inwardly curved roof.
It was produced in the versions 230 SL (1963-1967), 250 SL (1967) and 280 SL (1968-1971), available with manual or automatic transmission, 48,912 units, most of which were exported to the USA.
