About "Mercedes - Benz 710 From 1930"

by Jan Keteleer

About the artwork

The Mercedes - Benz 710 was a luxury car manufactured by the House of Benz during the World War II. It was a very common car during that time because it was used by high-ranking officials of the Third Reich. The reason why the car is so rare today is because they only produced about thirty of them, out of the total of 6 million cars produced at that time. Its production was also limited to only about ten countries. It is also one of the most successful lines of cars ever produced by the company.

The Mercedes - Benz 710 was used by the German Army during the World War II and was known as the Mercedes Schachtler. One of the most notable military vehicles was the Mercedes, which served the purpose of both a medium-sized car for ordinary citizens and a luxury vehicle for high-ranking officials of the Third Reich. Many people remember the movie Top Gun, where the hero used this car as his fighter plane for the entire movie. That's how popular this car really was in its time. It was very popular among the youth during that time because of its looks and class.
