Kim's works are definitely figurative, sometimes realistic, but elements of alienation also appear, these arise during the process. The works are characterised by an emotional charge, & questions arise.
However, there should be room for own interpretation, so that everyone can make their own story. Female figures, sensuality, strength & vulnerability are a recurring theme in Kim's work.
