The world-famous Girl with a Pearl Earring, originally painted by Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer, around 1665-1667.
In this version, the girl is combined with flowers from still lifes by other old masters and I have adjusted the colours of her clothes accordingly.
I also took her from Delft and brought her to Haarlem, she is now enjoying the view of Haarlem, a painting produced by Dutch painter Jacob Isaacksz van Ruisdael between 1670 and 1675.
The stylists at Art Heroes call my art style ‘Art with a Wink’. And I couldn't agree more. Life is serious enough as it is, don't you think? ;-)
